INTRODUCTION

Particle pollution – PM10 and PM2.5 has become a hot issue in recent years. While the term PM is simple, PM itself is a relatively complex mixture with extremely small particles and liquid droplets that float around in the air. Researchers say minute particle pollution as indicated by high PM2.5 readings will cause a spike in the mortality rate of patients suffering heart and lung diseases. As a result public concerns on air quality caused by particle pollution has never ceased growing.

This PM2.5 Sensor Module is a digital universal particle density sensor,it can be used to obtain the number of suspended particulate matter in a unit volume of air within 0.3 to 10 microns, namely the density of particulate matter, and outputs via digital interface as well as quality data of per particle. The sensor is useful in a variety of environment-related projects and installations, to provide timely and accurate particle data.
